KUALA LUMPUR, Fri. - The Prime Minister today went head-to-head with

critics who argue that his drive against corruption has gone limp.
Datuk Seri Abdullah Ahmad Badawi also raised a cautionary hand against

those who are advising him to make more corruption-related arrests to

boost his popularity. He said that no one should be prosecuted for

corruption on the basis of suspicion or perception, no matter how strong

the suspicion.

"At the end of the day, it can only be hard, cold evidence that holds

sway," he said.
