PM: No let-up in graft war

THERE will be no compromise in the fight against corruption in Malaysia,
with more emphasis placed on preventive measures, said the Prime Minister.
"We will continue with our fight to reduce and eradicate corruption,"
Datuk Seri Abdullah Ahmad Badawi told Malaysian reporters yesterday, the
last day of his visit to Japan.
He was commenting on a statement by Tun Dr Mahathir Mohamad that
corruption was becoming a "culture" in Malaysia.
