KUALA LUMPUR, Thurs. - He may have been spared from having to repay a

RM7.1 million gambling debt but Datuk Seri Osu Sukam could not escape the
wrath of the Prime Minister.

Datuk Seri Abdullah Ahmad Badawi said the former Sabah Chief Minister

had "failed as a leader".

Expressing his disappointment with Osu, he said: "We want credible

leaders who lead by example. It looks like Osu has failed as a leader. It

has tainted his leadership."
