PM SEES RED OVER RED TAPE (HL)
Byline: Farrah Naz Karim
PUTRAJAYA, Tues. - The famously slow, sluggish process of form- filling
and queuing at government service counters came in for a real dressing
down today - from none other than the Prime Minister himself.
"Things need to be improved... we are not using typewriters now but
computers. This should make them (government agencies) efficient," Datuk
Seri Abdullah Ahmad Badawi said.
He said there was no excuse for the agencies not to have an efficient
delivery system as the Government had invested greatly in equipping them
with up-to-date technology.
